Amethyst necklace with gold clasp
Vintage necklace composed of 40 natural oval purple amethyst beads hand-engraved with falling melon ribs. Embellished with a rectangular ratchet clasp in solid 18-carat 750/1000 gold, master goldsmith's diamond hallmark. French work. The clasp is finely guilloché on both sides and fitted with a safety figure eight.
Dimensions of the smallest pearl: width 0.6 cm x length 0.7 cm x thickness 0.5 cm
Dimensions of the largest pearl: width 1.1 cm x length 1.8 cm x thickness 0.8 cm

Very good state. Clasp in new condition, which clips very well. The amethysts are in very good condition. One pearl has a discreet shine at the top and a pearl next to the clasp has a very small shine at the end. Amethysts are beautifully transparent and luminous. Necklace rethreaded new.
